Lockdown – An update for our customers

We have continued to abide by government advice through this year and following the announcement of the implementation of a national lockdown in England we wanted to provide an update on our plans.

Having taken extensive advice on what manufacturing companies such as ourselves are permitted to do under the planned restrictions we can confirm that unless circumstances beyond our control intervene, all planned deliveries between now and Christmas will take place as scheduled.

We have invested heavily this year to keep our staff working and made changes to both the layout of our factory and the way we operate to keep our customers and staff safe.

Speaking of the plans, Will Mitchell, SUNFLEX UK Trade Account Manager, said:

“We have been communicating regularly with all of our distributors across the country because we appreciate that the circumstances for each company and area has been different. We understand that there will inevitably be disruption to projects over the coming weeks, so understanding where those builds are and when our systems will likely be required will enable us to plan with our distributors to meet demand.

We will continue to be mindful of advice and to adhere to best practice to protect our staff, our customers and the wider general public, but we are confident with the work that has gone on we are in a good position to be able to operate safely.”
