SUNFLEX horizontal sliding wall (HSW)
Sunflex SF40
Frameless with no visible vertical framework,
similar to the SF25 glass sliding stack
& turn system
Sunflex SF45
Continuous non-thermally broken slim
line aluminium is offered with a choice
of profiles from the WS (softline/rounded)
edge to the WE (square) edge.
Sunflex SF55
The profile is constructed from a strong
aluminium extrusion, which has been thermally
broken by a 24mm polyamide insulation bar,
guaranteeing it optimum resistance to combat
heat loss and condensation. The minimal
framework is offered as a (WE) square edge
profile.
Sunflex SF65
The Sunflex SF65 is manufactured from triple-laminated
solid timber sections. These sections have
been stabilised at stress points and bonded
back together with opposing grains, which
creates added strength whilst preventing
warping and twisting.
Track
The HSW does not require a bottom track,
therefore ensures an uninterrupted floor.
Floor sockets will be required to accommodate
the shoot bolt locking rods.
Security - Shootbolts
A high level of security is provided as
standard, with an effortless, quick, smooth
and easy operation. It consists of a top
and bottom shoot bolt locking mechanism,
which is incorporated into the framework.
The shoot bolt rods are manufactured in
aluminium and linked by a corrosion resistant
cam. They are capped with glass fibre reinforced
polyamide cones to prevent any damage to
the floor or head track. Each panel interlocks
with it neighbouring panels by the means
of tongue and groove moulded connecting
blocks and continuous gasket seals.
Five-lever key-locking cylinder incorporated
within the profile
A five-lever Euro profile cylinder key lock
and handles can be fitted to the end lead
door or single pass door. These can be fitted
to either the inside only or both internally
and externally as required, meeting the
requirements of the Association of British
Insurers. By integrating the locking cylinder
into the existing profile in this way eliminates
the need for an additional add-on profile
familiar with other sub standard systems,
ensuring all sightlines remain symmetrically
the same.
Weather seals
The top and bottom seals consist of a twin
nylon brush piles separated by a twin fin
seal, giving an effective seal. The double
gasket seals between the door panels are
continuous and of superior quality (consisting
of long lasting EPDM).
Operating system
The running mechanism consists of double
horizontal stainless steel polyamide coated
wheels with maintenance free sealed ball
bearings providing continued quiet, quick
and easy, smooth operation and a long life.
Furniture
Handles and hinges are made of cast alloy,
handles are sprung-loaded and flush-fitted
to enable door panels to stack flat when
fully opened.
Design options
Depending upon the specified door system,
designs can be customised according to your
preference - the options include mid-rails,
mullions, plant-on bars with dummy spacer
grids, deeper top and bottom profiles and
solid-in fill panels, among many others.
